Booking terms
These terms govern walking tours, private tours, guiding and related services offered under SPECTRUM tours. The relevant product page or individual quote states the service, duration, language, price, group size, meeting details and special conditions.
SPECTRUM tours uses direct booking and inquiry-first booking. An inquiry is not a confirmed reservation. For private or customised services, a contract is formed only when SPECTRUM tours confirms guide availability, scope, date and final price in writing.
For direct booking, the contract is formed only when the customer receives a SPECTRUM tours confirmation email. A success page, card authorisation or submitted form alone does not confirm the service.
The customer must provide accurate details, arrive on time, follow reasonable safety instructions and disclose material accessibility needs. The person making the reservation is responsible for informing their group of these terms.
Unless stated otherwise, entrance fees, public transport, food and personal expenses are excluded. “From” prices may vary by group size, duration, date, language or custom scope; the final amount must be shown before the contract is formed.
Customers should arrive ten minutes early. The guide may wait up to ten minutes after the start where this does not prejudice other participants. Late arrival does not entitle the customer to an extension or partial refund. A no-show is non-refundable.
Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Routes may reasonably change due to closures, crowds, safety, traffic, weather, public events, worship or venue operation. The essential nature and agreed duration will be preserved where reasonably possible.
SPECTRUM tours may refuse or end participation where a person creates danger, behaves aggressively, materially disrupts the activity, refuses lawful instructions or is visibly intoxicated. No automatic refund arises in such a case.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional conduct, gross negligence, personal injury or mandatory consumer rights.
For leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period, the general 14-day distance-contract withdrawal right does not apply. The contractual cancellation policy below still applies.
Czech law governs the contract, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence. The Czech text is the reference version.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellation must be sent to info@spectrumtours.cz.
- Cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start: full refund.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the start: non-refundable.
- No-show: non-refundable.
A separately agreed private-tour quote may contain a different cancellation deadline if clearly accepted before contract formation.
A rescheduling request received at least 24 hours before the start will normally be accommodated once, subject to availability. Price differences apply. If no alternative is available, the cancellation rules apply.
Tours operate in normal city weather. If SPECTRUM tours considers conditions unsafe or objectively preventing performance, it will offer rescheduling or refund the unprovided service.
If SPECTRUM tours cancels because of guide illness, safety, authority restrictions, force majeure or a published minimum group not being reached, the customer may choose rescheduling or a refund. Independently purchased travel, accommodation or third-party costs are not reimbursed unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method without undue delay, normally within seven business days; the bank may take longer to display the credit.
Complaints and ADR
Defects should be reported promptly, ideally during the tour, so they can be corrected. Complaints may be sent to info@spectrumtours.cz and should include the customer’s name, booking reference, service/date, issue and requested remedy.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority ADR department, Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Prague 1, adr@coi.gov.cz. A proposal generally must be filed within one year after the consumer first asserted the claim with the business.
The former EU ODR platform is no longer operated. Cross-border consumers may use the competent national ADR body or seek assistance from a European Consumer Centre.
